Guys,
M&M is doing Great Escape for both its old and new customers. Every one knows that 99.9% of vehicles that Mahindra sells now is 2wd. MGE is a good PR exercise. Rather it is an event where owners get to experience what thier 2wd vehicle can do!

M&M will not host any kind of event that will have the difficuilty levels we people do. There would be lot of guys who are new to offroading and giving them serious tasks can bring serious safety issues. The last thing M&M wants is any fatal accident at their event. (plus not every one at M&M conducting GE is a through off roader by passion)

MGE 4x4 only events do exist! This is done in Rajasthan. Here no 2wd can go. Plus there is a good population of 4wd vehicles here. Hence participation will not be a problem. Even here gradients are not that steep. You cannot expect everybody to be a skilled and experienced driver.

We should stop comparing MGE with events which jeep thrills does or the weekend off road which we all do at various parts of country. MGE can be a good off track experience but not a great offroad experience.

Nice pictures. I saw some of the Jeeps with the stickers roaming on the streets with the stickers. Today I saw a Tata Ace with the GE sticker. Probably pulled it out from one of the Jeeps.

Wonderful Ashish People dont drive the vehicle or feel the vehicle and still become judgemental. Good answer to those who thought Bolero 4wd was a dud. Now let pics do some talking. I dont think we have even a single Bolero 4wd on forum with pics of some offroading.

Great escape Goa

Hi, its good to see the Great Escape in Goa generated so much excitement from the local jeepers. It definately is a great opportunity to showoff one's skills with their Mahindras. Only grouse is that most of the participants think they know it all about how to tackle different situations, creating more confusion & chaos & fools of themselves. The very inviting Goan terrain in the rains seems to flick a switch for all the participants to act the way they do.

In that case, start counting the number of the Bolero action shots in this page: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/4x4-ex...challenge.html
