We waited for 2 hours and no sign of other vehicles but me,Vijay, Chandan and friends were enjoying the nature with beautiful waterfall. Then we decided to go back to check other vehicles status just in time few trekker arrived and told about Bolero story how it fallen(not sure about this story) after few minutes heard jeep sounds and all vehicle arrived at meeting point.
Next trail was to cross river but to reach downwards to the base the trail was very slippery my Gypsy was moving with the soil. It was decided first Winch Vehicles cross the river so if any vehicle get stuck it can be pulled up.
Photos will speak how the vehicles crossed river, I do not know whether any vehicles got stuck in the river.

After crossing the river We had to climb one steep incline with slush, manpower was required to push some vehicles. Soil was very loose to climb up and one jeeper had parked the vehicle and gone downward to see river crossing and there was traffic jam but luckily somebody moved the Jeep since we were in first batch we reached the tar road but it was 6.15 PM completed only 60% of the track. Marshal gave option of completing track in Night but we backed out simple reason how can we enjoy in dark with lights ON, We then proceed to resort for final enjoyment with DJ music and good food (Last part no photos).
I do not know whether other participants completed the full terrain but when we reached resort within few minutes all vehicles turned up.

Don't tell me that you crossed the river at the exact location where you have marked with the red line. Man, that is quite some risk. What prevented the vehicles from being washed away?

You know what, I am really really cursing that my Singapore trip ha to be around this time when you all had such a wonderful time and I had to skip this. I would have loved to take my Gypsy to this terrain and this terrain would have made my Gypsy happy.

Now, sitting in Singapore, all I can do is comment on what a great time you all had.

Some questions:

Why did the NDMS tyres not perform? I thought they are supposed to be great in mud/slush? Was it some isolated cases or all jeeps with NDMs had issues?

Did water level have an impact on vehicles (intake/exhaust)?

Yes, you are right but had to prepare for it (the presentation that I have to make here) and some other work that just meant that no way I could have attended this and also finish the work. Such is life.. what to do

Infact me & vijay had atleast 3-4 round of discussions and to his credit he tempted me a LOT to join in and I was almost swayed by his arguments (and even Shakir's) but then 'work sense' prevailed and had to drop out.

The only solace for consolidation was a 1/2 day outing on Sunday
