@ArunV: If you REALLY wana join in then just drive in your car to the meeting point and then go along from there with the group.

There is enough parking place (by road side) where you can park the car at the OTR spot.

Brothers,

I got a call from Dwarak today, to inform me about this OTR. I am in Himachal on a long, long vacation. I am in some little village lost in the Himalayan forests, but somehow, there is internet access here. So. I wish you all a nice outing. Have fun, and remember to take the high lift jack/winch only after all else fails!

@Dwarak, khan: remember the second place we went and checked out? The one that we didn't do because there were no vehicles with winches. Please try that out and let us know how it goes! And promise we'll go there again after I am back!!

@Rudra,Mjothi: I eagerly look forward to your (as usual) excellent coverage of the event.

this list looks stunning. Range rover!! A defender!! awesome this OTR'll be. Is Mr Rudra joining in? you need one good photographer for sure to capture all moments from start of meet till return.

Prelim Report:

Just back from the OTR. I dont have any pics, but very excited to share what happened. Many pics to follow.

3 idlies, 2 vada and 1 coffee later...

Me and F-Head (Ganesh Banavar) cruised along with other jeepers to the spot.

Spot was very exciting and challenging (to me), i am a Newbie (& a spectator)

3 Gypsy;s broke/damaged the rear bumper.
1 LandRover slightly damaged rear bumper
1 Landrover damaged the right side running board completely
The above was WINCHED out by the 1st L.R
1 Black safari ROYALLY damaged the front bumper, running board's'
1 Red Gypsy slightly scrapped rear bumper
1 Bulleteer (Dwarak Sir) slightly had a off-the-bike moment. No harm done.
Finally-
My Jeeper Ganesh Banavar's F-HEAD Jeep stopped working!!! Was winched back home. Was really sore because the engine just stopped working. Fault finding to be done over next few days...!!
