Nice location.

Just wondering, why the air pressure in the tires seems to be so high for these conditions.

Machines participated:
3 Gypsy from Bangalore (Khan, Siddarth & Sha's)
2 MM550 (Sreeraj & Swastikviji)
1 MM540 (Chandan & Sapna, shaklespura)
1 Bolero pickup (Vikram Gowda from Shaklespur.)
1 CJ (Sharath, mangalore)

All thanks for such a wonderful trail goes to Mr.Vikram Gowda. He was kind enough to take up to a breadth taking hills and views. I think the max altitude we were was 3.8K feet??

Imagine the 360 degree view of green western ghats, and having those Biriyanis.

Ok, we (mjothi, Sreeraj, Vishnu & Vamsi) reached around 6:13am @ IIMB. khan joined us around 6:30am. We drove towards magadi road and around 7:30am, our Siddarth joined us in NICE road.

While waiting for our Siddarth

From there roads was really awesome with almost nill traffic. We crossed Magadi, Kunigal and CR patna. We reached Hassan by pass without any hassle. Thats when the whole fun started. We decided to take the by-pass. it had no roads, except pot holes. Luckily we were on a machine that dont care about good roads.

In Kamat parking - Not sure why Siddarth Gypsy is always odd man out.

on the way to Saklespur

The Monsoon OTR - Hill climbings, stream crossing in rain with lots of pain...-img_0007.jpg

Then the next challange was for me & Khan. We were in his Spidey and as you know, it had nothing on top. it was raining cat & dogs. The only weapon we had was the vinyl banner, which Khan has flicked from some advt around his place. Lol.

So, we have the banner, but no point to tie it to. We finally decide to lock it with the doors on each side. But the center it was flapping and making huge noise with rains pouring straight at our eyes.

I was trying to hold that banner with my hands to avoid it from flying. man, that was the worst punishment one can get for sitting in Khan's Gypsy.

Some how we reach saklespur to find our other team who had nothing to do and was roaming around in roads of Saklespur.

It was Swastikviji, vijay reddy & Shakeer. Along with them 2 more friends of Viji.

The actual trial was planned for Sunday. Since we reached there around noon, thought of trying some ghats or falls. So, the current pics are the one we had fun on Saturday in Mallavalli falls.

Road conditions from Hassan to Saklespur - Roads - What are they? How it would be?

Now for the pics.
Spot the T-BHPian in this crowd?

This is how Swastikviji kidnapped us when we reached Saklespur.

We were planning to reach Chandan's place and relax and then start the drive. but it never happened.

Topless pain & pleasure

Mjothi,
Excellent start and narration! I like your kind of writing. You guys are lucky to be closer to western ghats. Splendid water falls and off road trail too! Roll the pics..soon

p.s- Hats off to the spirit of Khan and you who dared to take Spidy without top to the place where it rains cats & dogs!! Guys, you need more than a working 4wd to go off road and top is one of them!
