@Samurai: No one yet with 2.4 here. The new unregistered Endy was there though.

The trail looks easier than what NIOC does, but pictures can be misleading.
From a vehicle damage/scratch viewpoint, how was the trail.
Two NIOC events that I did, there were lots of sharp thorns

Must have been a nice trip.
Unfortunately I was unable to get a seat on the evening flight and had to keep up with the earlier booked 3.30 flight to Patna ( It was Eid next day ).
Look forward to join the next one.

Has anyone kept a record of the trail lenght and time taken to complete it with the drink stops / picture stops / rescue stops etc.

The original plan was to keep it mild, easy route, but it seems it was a full fledged 4x4 trail ?

Thank you very much for posting the Mapsource file. Was able to download it and upload in the GPS device. ( Garmin GPS II + ). It is also stored in .gdb format and visible in Google earth.

Best regards

Shahid

@GRV: If you have a video then you can put it at youtube and link here. I do not have any.

@df: Can work out all that for you from my GPS. It was mild and interesting experience for most. The second part was difficult but since it was short there were no problems.

@tsk: The trails were selected to present very less thorny brushes but can not be avoided. My GV is none the worse for wear. I do not know about others. Adit/Gaurav/GRV seems equally unfazed.

Hi Sudev

I was not carrying any camera. But there was one gentleman who had a professional looking video camera. He was stationed on the Uphill section at the start of the second trail.

Click pictures and share. Not possible to organise the group activity as short notice. But hey may be later in the year!

nice pictures......sad to see a toyota lc flip over but stuff like this is bound to happen with such a large gathering of newbies.that is probably the easiest section of the trail.....how many men did it take to push back onto all fours?
btw were there any regular ncr otr attendees as i cant see any of the nioc members at the meet??
