Thanx for all the amazing pictures @ c10.

most of the pics show all the vehicles stuck, getting pulled out or in a bad fix in the mud/slush.. was the track very tough or it was just bad luck??

Hi RuffRyder, i could not be there at the venue as i got delayed the previous night & something unavoidable came up on sunday morning.. well, with the info i got from my friends (localites from Verajpet) - they all throughly enjoyed & said this track was really tricky & tuff.. waiting for more pictures & info from participants..

Cheers,

This event was FUN! auto - cross format with obstacles (slush, steep inclines/descents,water crossing etc) so we could call such events
4*4 cross.

Its all about speed and timing - not just vehicle speed but also how quick we are in our recovery techniques is vital here.
Winner is based on fastest time taken to complete the 2 laps.

Each team consists of 3 members - driver + 2 members for spotting/marking and recovery.

We are allowed to use any of our recovery equipment ( winches, tow ropes,hi lift jacks, shovels etc) or the tractors which were present there to pull us out when we got stuck.

@rudra sen - wish i had taken my gypsy , sure missed it during the event , but the plan was to take part in both the jeep class and the gypsy class, so shakir's gypsy was already there , so we took it on in swastik's mm550.

Congrats shakir!!
Track looks inviting! Why did Rehans Scorpio fail just 100 meters before finish line? Clutch again? or it got stuck?
Viji, great show. Next time keep Gypsys where they deserve to be..behind a jeep:-))) LOL

p.s- Need loads of pics...so keep rolling!

@ jaggu thanks.

Vinod the same problem Again with electronic Shifter, its not Shifting to 4L, don't want to burn the clutch by trying in 4H, we happily retired. we are planning to find a permanent solution by converting it to manual. Any technicle help from experts please.

Viji,
Contact Beboy and whitemm550. They both have converted electric shift to manual ones. Else dump the product to M&M workshop. Ask them to change everything under warranty. Contact Behram for help as well.

Thanks vinod, Gypsy was never winched or pushed . Photos will come shortly filtering going on.
Rehan warm up lap was too good but 4WD sensor gave up. Rehan Scorpio showed what capable machine it is only need some modification.
