You guys had a great time man. loved that scorpio with those wheels. Btw the scorpio should have tried to cross the lake since it had a snorkel and the exhaust was high. Even if it did get stuck, the engine would have been running and the rest of guys could winched it out. By this way atleast you could have tested the depth of the lake bed.

What if it sits inside due to the weight

Not just that, it will get completely spoiled if water enters inside the carpets and all.

Abbas the scorpio is the heaviest vehicle there and therefore not the best choice for "depth testing".
If it gets stuck it would have been another loooooong OTR!!

What was the damage to the Scorpio when it hit the tree? Hope the extended exhaust was not damaged and there was no body damage.

EDIT: Ok, only quarter glass. Thank God no damage to C pillar.

And this one:

A big "OUCH!" is it? Seems like it landed right on top of that rock.

Thanks to all for pulling me out of the lake! Special thanks to Vijay and his winch, else I would be sitting in the lake even now . I should admit, the sight of the winch gives you the courage to try out the limits of your Jeep and experiment
