Baburajs,

This will be the trail we did on 15th nov only for SWB and regular trail for longer vehicles. However on monday 25th , we explore new trail.

Reverse mode is quite tricky and has to be done with very small group. Will reserve this for future

Vinay, you are right.

Folks Every 4 WD has to mandatorily carry a pair of D shackles and a tow rope ( either nylon or steel) as minimum recovery equipment. High lift jack is very much appreciated.

I will join you

Hello all,
After a long break, I am planning on joining this OTR.

I have had issues with my starter and carb since the last time I got stuck on the Sarjaput OTR. Due to a bad carb, the engine used to stall and shut down everytime I slowed down (at a hump, in traffic etc). Due to repeated starting and mis-alignment of the starter the bendix teeth kept getting chewed up.

Thanks to Mr. UBS I have replaced them both and my Jeep seems to be doing well now. I did a trial run for about 100Kms today and did not once have the issue from before. I will do a few more trials before Jan 26th. I will also have a skid plate installed by then.

Can you suggest any jeep mechanics from North Bangalore (Hebbal area) that can help me fine tune my Jeep and get it OTR ready? Thanks.

Try contacting rajeshnarayanan, he owns a jeep and stays in Hennur main road (which is close to hebbal flyover). He might be able to guide you through.
