1) The Individual Entries are those who cannot form a team or 2 Vehicle entries, they will be clubbed together to form team of 3 Vehicle and 6 Competitors.

2) Time Calculations is 3(No. Of Vehicles in a Team)X2mins(per obstacle); for a 3 Obstacle SS = 3X2X3= 18 Mins
For a 5 Obstacle SS = 3X2X5 =30Mins

All are irrespective of no. of attempts, once your time runs out the Team or remaining Drivers will be DNF(Did Not Finish)

3) All vehicles have to attempt the SS or they will get a DNS (Did Not Start), If a Team has a Support Vehicle that too will be included in the Team of 3 Vehicles and MUST compete in the Special Stages.

4)Break Down-Fix It and Continue.

TPC 2010 ENTRY DETAILS

Hi Guys,

The Last Recce for Competitors was concluded on 18-07-2010.

The Terrain is very promising and all the Gypsy's were kicking @** and taking names, and the Drivers have surely more than a few tricks up their sleeves

Hi Arka,

A small clarification on this,
photocopies of all these documents will be returned?
why do you need three sets?
and are RC book copies must?

Just a suggestion, cant we just show all these documents during the scrutiny.

Regards

Hi Robinson,

All the listed documents are mandatory.

3 Copies are required for administrative purposes, If you wish for the copies to be returned they will be after the event.

Hi Arka,

Thanks for the clarification. I suggested this, to avoide so much of paper work and its wastage.

But if thats the process for the event, it will be followed.

Oh Yeah, you are just the friendly neighborhood offroader who gets pleasure in seeing the participants go through 2 days of ordeal and 1 year of pain to get a whimsical moment of pleasure if one WINS!!

But having said that, the satisfaction one gets on tackling the terrain is immense

I will miss my friends DKG, Dhabhar.Behram and Vinod_Nookala at the event!

@headers - I will be there to videograph all the pain in HD glory. BTW - what tires/pressure are you planning to run for TPC? ( you can decline to comment if it will give your competitors an edge )

30 psi is a bit on the high side right? I was running 20 psi for EXAMM and AKC in my Gypsy with 215/75 R15 Yokogeo AT-S. Thinking of running the same or even less at Palar. But since the dynamics in sand are so different, would like your help finding the sweet spot.

Oh wait a minute..you're not going to be around on Sunday! Totally forgot.

Oh well...I'll have to settle for Modest Arka
