TPC10 - India's Toughest 4x4 Off-Road Competition

TPC10 got off to a good start. Two significant things to be noted : record number of competing teams compared to previous years, and heavy rains during afternoon of D1 (for the uninitiated...rains during daytime at TPC are unheard of...it is expected to be hot/humid, with maybe some lucky rains during nights). Maybe the Mumbai participants have something to do with this

...looks like they brought the rains with them !

Come on guys, not fair, we are eagerly waiting for the updates on the India's most toughest challenge. I have started my OTR's just 2 weeks back and was very inclined to attend this event but no problem will be their for next year.

Ravi, Arka would have been more than happy had you attended the event. I see he is very desperate to drive a NGCS 550.

Hi Josh guy,
I missed this event for sure. Couldnt make it to Chennai. My work is keeping me so busy that iam hardly finding time to even post on team bhp. Busy with THAR and with great escape reces plus family shifting n all.Coming months will be even tougher.

so, how did the baap of all 4wd events happen? pics and report guys...

Hey Guys,

TPC 10 was fantastic. Our team Blue4 [Vikram / Ranjit, Dr. Jones/ Boopalan, Rajmohan / Lokesh] won the FIRST place.

There were 18 SS spread over 2 grueling days. We had 10 SS the first day and 8 the next.

Team Blue 4 Great Job. It took us from 9m to 3 pm to finish 6 stages on D1, and SS7 washed out on Rain, you guys on the other hand super speed on executing 5 Stages after 3pm in the Wet weather.

A Free entry with an equipped vehicle is ready for you guys for Tapronana 2010 (Entry value of US$ 1500) See you soon. You guys can handle this with ease

oh i was busy with the duck whistle, sorry!!! But my understanding of point score system in a competitive event was very different. Maybe since i missed the Thursday evening briefing i was kind of lost, with the whole points and prize thingie. I was just enjoying the weather.

Back in BLR now, please post up pictures and maybe participants can explain the terrain.
