| ![]() Was a great wkend....did some decent night offroad close to a friends farm at pali followed by some partying right there. Next was this great one at Sawarsi...had good fun, will post pics soon. Quote:
River side - Beyond lonavala market(railway station) the road that leads to Pavna dam runs along a river most of the time. I am sure there is a lot of scope there. Good thing abt this place is that the dust is less and since the river is right there we will have more FUN!!! Also we can get there in hardly any time as it is only 10kms approx from lonavala. Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() What are you guys complaining about dust for? You'll were in gypsies with doors and hoods! You should have seen my state! When i took off my sunglases, i looked like phantom! ![]() Anyways, everytime is a learning experience. Neville, special thanks to you for helping me with the hill decent and the crevice crossing. I realized that i sometimes do not leave the clutch completely and also back off the throttle at just the moment when i shouldn't. And i definitely need a tyre upgrade ASAP. Guys, please post pics. |

| ![]() [the amount of dust was there on the car, on clothes, inside outside was not a joke.] Huh. What did you expect Devang? 1.you are offroading in Jan (dry weather) 2.in a bauxite mine and 3.you decided to start at 2pm in the afternoon ![]() I think this track is an excellent find and will be formidable in the monsoons. Infact I feel even reaching the mine will be a challenge once the winding roads to the approach that are presently very soft dust/sand will themselves become obstacles. Special thanks to Mohan for this find. Tejas, you are most welcome. I think you and Prashant did great for starters. |

| ![]() [quote=Tejas@perioimpl;1687648]Anyways, everytime is a learning experience. quote] Oh Ya that sure was a major learning...First offroad ever and that starts with a small patch in the night..wow dint expect those stones/boulders to be so difficult. The crevice crossing in the afternoon looked very difficult to a first timer like me but was a good confidence booster i must say. Thanx to Devang & Allan for all the guidance.
