OK, with the onset of Monsoon just few weeks away, can we finalize this -- if this is happening at all??

Mumbai/Pune folks: What's the program? Dates/trail etc??

Should we combine this with the Alfa-Kilo Challange?

Let's move forward and put down some concrete dates/plans.

We did discuss this when we meet up last weekend for off roading.

It's the dates that are an issue.

We all mumbai guys are planning a Leh trip on 27th August. So this event must be before that.

14 August is NIOC.

12-15 - TPC

Can anyone put up dates for the Kerala event?

What about mid July for the Alfa Kilo challenge (current dates are 27,28,29 August) which can be clubbed with this? Rajmacchi, will make it happen!

I'll speak to motocamp (kunal) if he can change the dates.

Nah baba!

As of now there are: 4 gypsies & 4 gurkhas.

I will, relax and enjoy the drive as a co passenger in the front seat of the gypsy.

Seriously, to get this discussion moving forward and finalizing the dates, can anyone list out a complete list of all major events in HYD, BLR, CHENNAI, KERALA side?

UPDATE:

Just spoke to Kunal (motocamp). He and uncle (abhimanyu's dad) are not in India in July. So tentatively planning 25,26,27 June 2010. Hope it rains well before that. Is everyone fine with these dates?

You know what, everyone will not be fine with any dates that are put up. I say that you folks put up dates/plans and then execute. Those all who want to make it will make it..

I fully agree with this logic Tejas. Just plan the OTR and announce the dates. Those that are interested will find ways to attend. If you try to build consensus you'll never have it agreed to in time. BTW we already have some feelers on the poll on months favourable. Just go ahead and plan and we'll join in

Hi Guys just wanted to let you know.

I have changed the dates of the Alfa Kilo Challenge from august to the 25th 26th and 27th of june, as august seems to be unfavourable for many Bhpians.

Guys please post on the Alfa Kilo Thread if you plan to attend.

Thanks.

Ok Kunal. That helps.

@Mumbai folks. Do you plan some other OTR adjacent to these dates? So that outstation folks can enjoy multiple OTR days in that region.

Yes, we are planning. Rajmacchi will be there for sure. Alfa kilo will be 25-26 (fri-sat). From there we move onto lonavla and do that part sat eve/night and sunday morning. You guys can head back from there.

If you guys have 1 more day, then we can do Sarwarsi also. Great terrain.

Here's the alfa kilo thread for others:
