A small group went to Kelambakkam last Sunday for a variety of reasons which also includes drinking Horlicks, however one of the reasons was to take the two new gypsies that were recently added to Terra Tiger's gang offroad.

They are Ranjit's "Ice Cream" and Vijay's "Chikku Bukku"

Don't ask me about the weird names. Weird owners and hence weird names.

It was fun and different being a small group we had a lot of fun. We also tried out some new obstacles apart from the usual in Kelambakkam.

Hi Petrol head, where are the offroad pics, Is this your new gypsy which you told me about, If i remember its a J**p killer right?

So finally you guys started doing 2wd tracks.

For what purpose did you remove the front bumper?

What tires are those and what size?

Sorry for the OT questions, i am a newbie to Gypsys .

PS- Most of this can actually be done in 2WD, but at the expense of your tyres, steering and suspension...........occasionally some body work

Sure Arka, get me your 3b with the 7.00 16 NDMS tires and i will surely feel at home and also demonstrate to the kids how to do the trail in 2wd with out vehicle damage.

But i am not skilled enough to take a gypsy in 2wd , hats off vijay.

Arka saar, i dont believe in getting a gun for a sword fight.

Fiery saar, we are walking up or rather crawling up from the past 68 years.

Vijay saar, there will be a new ringmaster in town to tame all the TIGERS and train them.

Have you ever heard of Ghostbusters?

There is a time and place to prove , that day the phoenix shall rise from the sands and teach the senile papa.

We wanted to do a good off-road event during the monsoon and planned to do recee. As a part of it I went to an event organized by Mr.Rajkumar and Mr.Anand at Yercaud hills on 22 April 2011 with a very small group of off-road enthusiast joining in from Salem and Erode. Unfortunately, my gypsy was not ready so didn’t take it, went to Salem in car and joined Rajkumar in his MM550.

• Anand (CJ 5)
• Ashwin (MM550)
• Ganesh(MG410)

It was a beautiful trial with good technical obstacles. It became tough when it started to rain. I could not take many pictures as it started to rain but I am posting some pictures, which I managed to take.
My Special thaks to Rajkumar for arranging this off-road trip.
