A step by step recipe for making chocolate covered donuts:

First mix the right amount of brown mud and water

Then start grinding it to a uniform consistency

Make sure that your apprentices observe the process carefully

Include some barefoot trampling to add the fine touch

Big Boys Play At Night - The Lonavala Games-chocolatebarefoot.jpg

Occasionally give it a poke to check that it is the right consistency

If necessary give an extra shake

Extract the donut from the batter gently (like being pulled by a jeep which is being pulled by a gypsy)

Admire your sinful chocolate covered donut

The Gurkha was stuck badly ,see the front and rear left wheel ,submerged in slush ,chassis level and it didn't budge even with the diff locks engaged.

After a point, the front left wheel was not even spinning. Else we would have had
no chocolate covered donuts!

@V-16: I would love to say that my innova swallowed up the terrain effortlessly but in reality I was riding shotgun with Tejas. On the lookout for a vehicle which by current outlook will either come through a miraculous mata ka bulawa or pointers from people with a lot of contacts in the Mumbai auto market (hint hint)

@Iceman7: Technically I was a visitor riding shotgun. There are usually enough seats, though you can ask paras how riding in the back of a bucking gypsy driven by Ibrahim feels like.

The final episode: Like Water For Chocolate

After having yanked the Gurkha out (as well as the rear tow hook of the Classic), it was time to cool down and wash down the chocolate with some water.

In the last visit Ibrahim had allegedly said that he would run circles around the lake (which has a small island in the middle). He made a couple of trips to the island and circled the front of it. The other parts were too deep and he left that for Mohan to experience . Fairly uneventful other than getting some water into his K&N which btw is enclosed in a fancy tupperware container!

Next the classic followed and came back uneventfully. No snaps since the photographer was in the classic.

Next went the Gurkha which reached the island with ease and was then brainwashed into 'exploring' the 'deep end'. We all know what happened next. If you just joined the thread, please start at the top!

After draining out a few gallons of water (As Mohan diligently explained to his son: "This is what drainplugs are for!") , and letting a few liters remain in the head lights,

we all headed back to the deserted shack and then to our respective homes with wonderful memories of a night of adventure, action, teamwork and vistas as beautiful as this...

We went to another spot before where my classic got stuck and then ibrahim's gypsy had a tough time in slush. From there we headed to this water crossing and then ibrahim's 4x4 lever got stuck in neutral. Got quite late fixing it.

Nope. We were too shocked. I was in Ibrahim's gypsy that time and all i was telling him was "how the hell are we gonna tow him out of the water??? Thank god that Gurkha came out. Only because of the snorkel & diesel engine.

Getting it done. Also, hopefully new tyres as well.

Ibrahim's clutch is also fried and so is his 4x4 lever.

Also getting a ten meter steel wire from ibrahim. Alok, do you need one and what size? I'm going tomorrow...

@GENESIS:

You have a permanent seat reserved in my classic from now on!

I know of a gypsy for sale if you really interested.

@Tejas, Thanks for remembering this, Pl get me 7 mtrs one, storing the longer chains will be an issue.

If ne one have have the pics of Gurkha with the water upto 1/3rd of windshield, pls post it.

Fact File - Moon illumination was 66.8% on 6th March Night.

We will have around 91.8% on 27th March 10 (Sat) & 97.2% on 28th March 10 (Sun) Night.

Guys let's plan something big like first Sarwasi OTR (arnd 15 to 20 machines) for 27th or 28th March 10. We can request Mathew to arrange for overnight camping with food and all @cost.

Cheers!

Alok
