I am in. Will take the innova (strictly On The Road) on Sat afternoon/early evening so if anyone wants a ride from Chembur onwards they are welcome.

2 person tent and no boat!

Saturday + Sunday:

1. Allan
2. Mohan
3. Ibrahim
4. Alok +1 Guest : Tent (6 person capacity)+boat (3 person)+small icebox
5. Tejas
6. Soumya

Sunday
1. Imran
2. Tejas' friend

My friends shack is fully booked this Saturday,however I have booked a tent.
Since there are only 5 individuals for the night I have booked 1 tent.
Another tent is possible if its confirmed by tomorrow.
The per-person charge will be Rs300/- ,living,dinner(non-veg) and early morning tea and breakfast. Juice will be at individual cost.I will arrange.

@motocamp: I too have the same question,so appropriate arrangement could be done.
@Soumya:glad you are in.

Putting up tents on the beach is not permissible.

The place where we will be staying is right on the beach.

We can cary our food and drinks on the beach,very windy and cool by the night.

And yes, there is plenty of slush(2 acres of slush) should anyone wants to get stuck.

Been to the beach today evening(the shack is 50 meters away).

Hi guys i too am in, along with the new owner of the 550 and one of his friends in a defender. Will confirm with you dr mohan tomorow for sure of the no of people.

No i wont but might have to come in only on Sunday Morning as i feel some family plans brewing. Ill try to keep away else, it will have to be Sunday Morning arrival. Will get a friend with me and if possible my mechanic. He can then help us as well as get the feel of the madness. Probably will return and ask for the jeep to redo to OTR standards again

Allan, I was thinking of starting a post on how to tackle wifes / girlfriends. I really envy a few regular members here and wonder how do they manage to go offroading every weekend.

- what's the use of earning, if you can't enjoy?
- this is the time to do this, not once i'm retired

Seriously, the weekend serves as a nice stress relief... no meeting the same people, no discussing work, politics, etc... just good ol' fun.

u know what . im really lucky i dont have a wife, YET

but i still have a MOM, who loves me to be at home every sunday, go for mass etc etc
and considering that i offroad every day, i do manage to skip a few sundays, i mainly come for the awesome likeminded company and the thrill of seeing soo many beautiful vehicles.

on a more serious note, i got a call today, and for us 4wheeling fools it was a blessing, shall discuss it with all at the venue this sunday.

Wifes and girlfiends, friends of the opposite sex coming along on satuday please confirm so an additional tent can be booked,

mr mohan since devang and all will also be coming on saturday, so will husain , i guess we can book the other tent as well.

i am really looking forward to get my Monstar dirty with slush.

@Tjeas i agree with you, this is the right time to do it whats the point of having a clean virgin 4X4 which has not seen the real life.

I dont know what you guys get to hear from your GF or wife but mine gets really pissed when she sees the pics, "you are mad, arent you scared??"

Mom " you guys are worst than kids, you still get dirty in mud"

but end of the Offroad is something i cant live without. i hope it will continue till i can drive the car. lol
