Havent you seen the CBZ Xtreme video Ad.....

"Waiting is such a waste of time"

Lets get the drain plug fit, top up the engine oil and make the RED-CJ complete this trail this weekend... What say?

PS - Lets Strictly avoid ANY slush, As V_N said, cant expect 2nd time luck with just a tow-rope and 2 D-Shackles!!!

Had the pleasure of hanging out with Santosh and Ganesh (Thanks a lot for taking the time out and showing me the basics !) and met Arul today. Enjoyed it immensely and learnt how do the mountain goat act with the jeep. Couple of pics attached ....i guess i didnt realize from the first lot of pics that Santosh posted that there isnt any turning back on these rocks....you either make it up or tumble backwards .

All in all ...terrific saturday AM. Thanks again gentlemen. See you again on the next "On The Rocks" shortly.

B-2R in Izuzu Trooper SWB and myself in CJ340 explored the Hosur trail post the rains. Not may pics - but Rains have played havoc and the trail looks very nice for a 1day jaunt.

Some mobile pics, thx to Bhaskar (B-2R), sorry not too many this time...
(Bhaskar, Was a great outing with you, you got a monster there... lets exploit it more next time...)

The picture with your Mother on the passenger seat is simply too cute . It reminds me of the time I took Mom along for off-roading once (way back in the late nineties). She had an absolute blast. Mom had enough after a while though, and I dropped her back to the Esteem (about 1/2 the trail was covered).

Deep Water Fording...

Hosur River crossing - ~15 Kms from hosur enroute to Krishnagiri, 1Km off GQ NH7.

I had done this stretch of river crossing last year. Sadly no video of it, was just impromptu and solo...!!

Yesterday 2 Gurkha's (HiSunil and Nishanth) crossed it successfully. Well nearly... 1st attempt would have ended in a auto ride back home..!!

Sunil in his 1st attempt (Watch out for Second 0:24 ...!!!)

Sunil coming back

:( Sigh...!!

The govt I.T park work has started in full swing and yesterday we were caught unawares when testing out with a new jeeper from bangalore. A few heavy lift cranes and 1-2 buildings for construction workers are put up now. Moreover there are 1000 of yellow stones laid out as markings. No one want to tresspass into govt property - also felt sad to see many of the good obstacles being dynamited out of place...!!

But good thing is there are lot of enexplored places around this town, will continue the search for good offroad trails.
