Oh so you want an icebox that can fit only 5 people? Guru's Icebox took up the entire rear section of his gypsy. At one time, owing to the terrible heat, i was contemplating even lying down in it for a while.

In any case we can pack ice and water/drinks for an army in his coffin...er sorry... ice box!!

Hi Fellow's just got back from the latest recce. It was a small one this time as i suffered another puncture half way through...but not before i had some fun.

The hi lights of this recce were:
  • I have finalised the slush section.
  • Hail stones fell and then it rained!
  • We cleared some of the route with the hand winch...actually a broken cement pipe , the kind you see used under small culverts, was blocking the route so we winched it out of the way.
check out the pictures in a few you can see the jeep entering the culvert after we removed the broken pipe, don't miss the massive articulation and the front left wheel is in the air

It's going to be wild in the rains!

Thanks....I am changing the tires very soon, the michelin's are good tires but for the kind of offroading we currently do the sidewalls are too soft and the tire dia is not the most effective.

One more reason can be added - in the avalakondu trail one of my Jeep's tyre burst with sidewall damage (permanent) over such a stump!! They look very unassuming - but can cause such damages too.

Guys - I am full time on FB / gtalk thanks to the Nexus One. Haven't been in a single place for the last two weeks this being the last quarter of our financial year and work has really kicked up a couple of gears.

As soon as I am able to park butt at work for a bit I will upload. Hopefully tomorrow.
