Casual offroading at Yamuna bank under DND

Hey Guys, I plan to do some offroading this weekend near the DND (around where those kids play cricket). There seems to be good amount of slush and dirt tracks around. We are, at present, 3 gypsys - it will be fun if more around the region can join. We plan to do it at about 5am this Saturday. Let me know.

Cheers,
Abhey

Abhay - good plan. I have sometimes wondered how to get down there when I drive past as it does look fun!

Docfreak, Rhandle - what plan?

Cheers

I always used to wonder how do people reach there, as the DND itlself has railings on both sides.
Is it from Delhi side after crossing DND(some hidden left turn?)

Super recce with a great bunch of jeepers!!

First timers did well and gained a lot of confidence. The trail was easy-moderate in difficulty.

Hoping to see the pics soon!

Cheers

Awesome OTR! This was my first, and rightly said, it was a great confidence booster.

The pics are available on FB with public link -

I am also in the process of uploading the video on Youtube. Will share the link as soon as the upload is complete.

Abhey,

Nice video. I observe that gypsy and jeeps have applied brake in the decent and they speed up on incline. Rely on engine braking more and use the brake sparingly. Speeding on inclines while going down or coming up will obviously result in jumping and momentum breaks.
