Thanks for uploading the pics Tejas and Soumya. Soumya you have the a real gift for story telling. Sadly in all of this the official photographer, cum tale teller, cum occasional offroader, had a bad back so couldn't come in his CJ but inspite of being on bed rest for a couple of days, chose to participate outing with us. Thank you sirji. What would be interesting to know is what cock and bull cover story you gave the wife about your mud slung clothes on your return
Guru came without his much needed coffin.
I had the opportunity of capturing a few moments in my camera and thereon, getting involved in a Mud bath, refrained from touching the camera. Also partly because the terrain was breath taking. All thanks to Allan for taking us there. There were inclines and declines and twisty turny ways up, down and sideways and a lot of slush and water crossings, some river and stream crossings especially the last leg where it reminded me of the AKC crossing, only way way shallower than AKC. All in all a great time.
Paras you have become a good offroader. I can see the improvement by leaps and bounds in your technique from the EXAMM event at Lonavala. Also your Gypsy is in greater shape. Great!!
Breathtaking greenery all around. Almost like being in an English Mew.BTW thats Soumya atop the plain in white. Tejas cannot be missed in his fishing hat, while Paras clears the sludgy decline incline with no problem. Allan and his amazingly articulate Orangie, in cleaner times. Tejas spots for Devang while Soumya goes trigger happy, the result of which you have seen in his post above. Then both jump in as there is no other way across this obstacle.... ...While Devang throws Monstar into the small slush pit ....before climbing up...but the revs ate too low..... Devang backs up to get more power and momentum..... While Tejas and Soumya pray to the Almighty...... Another back crunching try for Soumya seated on the rear. As the climb was getting more difficult with the tries, it was decided to shed some excess baggage and load from the rear.......One time more and smoothly up with no fuss..... Prasad tries his hand at Graffiti. This is what you can expect on his Jonga when it gets ready, soon!! Paras's once white, then Dark grey and eventually Dark brown, graffiti-ed gypsy.
I remember someone asked him..
"Gaadi Palti ho gaya kya?"
Paras:"Nahi"
Rhetorical guy: "Toh yeh kaise manage kiya?"
All in all a fun filled afternoon.

You know why there were there Guru, they are a part of the initiation programme to EXAMM. besides that, the other two were Gypsies equipped with a door and window which could be rolled up or down to avoid/invite the flies. Orangie was too open and to add to that they had a feast waiting in my CJ....you!!
You were great company and a thanks for the spotting mate!!
