Oh, didnt know it was a hood cam, like a helmet cam the bikers wear. Great job Sunil, can you post a pic of the setup from the outside, want to know how it is done.

Santosh,

I too love to see the vid from out side, but most stream crossing and stuff, My Wife had to cross the obstetrical before me to take the video & that was not possible or at least convenient, also my kid was in the Jeep & she had to hold him too, so no other person like a navigator to jump out run around & capture the same. The video cam is my Bro's & first time I was using, so didn't know hot to keep it alive for long etc, some videos I have taken with the lens cover not opened essentially audio only .

Trying to get messages out in a not to subtle way!

(The other way would be the old "Mjothi's approach" )

It looks like he got it screwed using some kind of holder. In one of the video's you will find the, after a ride, the camera goes round and round and round and then finally points down! Maybe he tied down a tripods or something on the guards. But whatever done, I find the video without any vibration. That was quite a surprise!

I have a mono-pod that I had strapped with tags to the crash guard. My Bro after seeing the video says he has a remote too !!!, it would have been so much more eazy to turn on & off, rather than stop at awkward locations, turn off & later on again etc.. also the cam goes to standby in like 2 mins if no activity & stops recording, need to see how to keep it on for longer.

The TDI really makes a lot of noise, turn it off & The place is so bloody quite & peaceful suddenly.

After the OTR We went to Kukke Subramanaya Via Bisal Ghat road, 40 Kms & LOVELY path way, for some 15 odd kms was in 2nd gear only !!!, the next day Monday cameback to Somwarpet on the same road & then to Bangalore, Me & My Kid are still recovering from body ache & cold from the trip.

Cheers
Sunil

Guys,

Just washed My Drive this weekend, realized that one of the D shaped connectors on the Tow rope is Missing !!!, it had one at each end, now only one is with the rope!! I had left the rope at one of the obstetrical (the one where a SWB rolled over)

If anybody remembers seeing it please let me know, it is a Very High Gauge D shake with green paint on the removable pinon, at the end of RED synthetic tow rope.

Thanks
Sunil
