@Sunil: Thanks for sharing the photos.
Great OTR ( Friend Sameer enjoyed it too )..my 1st out of Bangalore ( Had participated in Avalakonda ).

Willy performed to expectations ( incl drive from Blore to somwarpet and back ) ; and cleared first 4 stages in the first attempt but could not complete the last one when my steering box got locked cause of a broken bolt inside.

Thanks to Kripal , Naveen and the service team for there overwhelming support in getting the jeep repaired ..also Vinayak / Hemanth who gave space in there vehicle with whom we completed the 5th one.

Yeah have gained good confidence since my 1st in Sarjapur lake bed last year Aug..when Khan , Jaggu , Happywheels , Vijay gave me the first lessons..thanks to you all and look further to having many more OTR's and many more learnings..

Have some pics ..will post shortly

@Sundeep,

You have one hell of a vehicle with you. Never ever thought that the little fellow will be able to make such long runs. Heavy under-estimation!

And that too for a vehicle which is seeing its, what, 4th OTR(?), it is holding out well. (@All: Previously the only "OTR" that vehicle saw was on Bangalore roads!)

And I am sure by now you have completed kicked that idea, of getting the engine replaced, out of your mind!

Wish you and your Willy many more successful OTR's!

Putting "Theory" to practice.

Hi

This was my third OTR and in the first two i was a mere passenger. Have been reading a lot of stuff regarding off road driving techniques on this forum and it was time to put them to test. Even though i have been driving jeep since very long time this event gave me an insight as to what a 4X4 can do, provided you apply a little logic and some common sense. Attaching some photographs that my cousin shot. Hope you guys like it.

Regards,
Darshan

Sunil - I have a feedback, please dont take it in a bad way. Next time, take all PICS/VIDS from outside the vehicle. The effect of a beautiful vehicle doing obstacles is lost in hearing "rumblerumblerumble" and seeing the greenery/water/grass in slow motion.

On the contrary, in cabin video's rock. Adds a different dimension when supplemented by pictures from outside

I loved the cam action from the hood. But yes, there were certain sections where I wanted to get a front view of what was happening.

Regardless, great going Sunil! Guess this is the first time we are having such a "hood" view shared over here.

And also, very nice of you to share the photos and video's quickly, something that I found hard to come by here!
