Hi Tejas,

That Video is amazing, think its Ibhrahim's gypsy? The trail as it is looking difficult and with Rain gods blessing it would be another FUN OTR and finally i will be able to meet more faces from Mumbai Gang.

For lunch are we talking about packing it from Home or getting it on the way?

Guys lets start really early. This time lets stick to the schedule and who ever comes late meets us at the next point. Maybe we should all meet at Lion's point by 7:30. The earlier the better. We beat the rush and hopefully it will be pouring.

Actually i have a 15th August evening meeting with my entire staff and their families. We have been doing this thing since years and they look forward to it. Cant change the date for anything. I gotts be home by 5 anyhow so Tejas please spell out the timings. When do we start the trail and how long does it take? If I leave by 2-2.30 i can make it by 5 i think.

sorry for pushing you guys but on a Sunday it can get really trafficky on the Bushy dam road. Is there any alternative route to of from this place to the highway? Any Google maps with markers will really help.

I dont want to miss this one and i cant miss my staff get together. HEEEEELLLPPP!!!!

I think Gogi is right...lets start the trail very early.Both the pune and Mumbai gangs should levae at such a time that we can actually start the trail at 8:00am.

It sounds difficult but if we push ourselves we can do it

Also for one day in the year why dont we all fly our nations flag on our respective jeeps.

Getting stuck only hones your skills in the offorading world, if you have never got stuck maybe you havent been trying hard enough ,so dont worry too much about it.

Hey Kunal, thank you for your encouragement, you have inspired me a lot since my first OTR at Alfa Kilo Lavassa trail. To be honest not afraid of getting stuck, know you would be their to help.

Gogi, frankly it'll be difficult. With so many vehicles, even if we start the trail early, it'll be cutting it too close to leave by 2-230. And the vehicular traffic is maddening. It took us nearly an hour to get from the market to the expressway last weekend.

Can't you do dinner with staff?
I don't mind early; i don't even mind staying over in lonavla. But it'll still be cutting it too close.

I had thought about it. However, the flags will get dirty with the muck flying around and will tear getting snagged in branches. I can make small stickers of flag that can be permanently be pasted on the cars. Like the ones cars spot in europe. Let me know.

Got thinking about adding an indian flag sticker to the Jeep. Made a few designs from pics i found from google.

Let me know what you guys think. I prefer sample 03 (it's a unique design), then 02 and then 01 (in that order).

I'm getting it made for my Jeep. Let me know if anyone wants any.

Lets give it a shot. Imagine getting stuck in the long serpentine way back at bushy dam. Ill leave by 2:2-30 anyways, no sweat as this is one day the staff looks forward to having their interaction with our and their families, cant cancel that for anything and anyways, it gets over by 6:30-7:00. No problem lets just try coz i dont wanna leave the trail in between.

I think all the participants should get one , just confirm the size it should be visible but not too big.

You can hop into anyone of the gypsies at the back. Not an issue. Either you can meet everyone at McDonald's or alternatively you can drive all the way to lonavla, park there and then hop in with someone.

I'll come to Mcdonalds on time.
I am new to mumbai, checked the location of the Mcdonalds on google & found out from colleagues about how to reach there effectively early morning. Will come mostly by train (for the 2nd time in mumbai ) & then rickshaw.
