Monsoon Avalakonda OTR 18th/19th September'10 EDIT:Recee pics on Pg.6

I pressume that OTRs across horizons have already been done like, Palar challenge, somwarapet, Munjarabad trail, chikkamagalur, AKC, Munnar. Folks are charged up even more.

Am proposing an OTR at Avalakonda trail again. But this time will be challenging with slush, mud, slippery rocks and last bit clay table where most offroaders had tough time battleling through mid night.

Be prepared to get slushed!!

Date of OTR: 18th/19th September 2010

Time of start 6.00 a.m. opposite Columbia Asia Hospital, After Hebbal.

Camping overnight at MP Sreenivasan's Cabin.

As usual the necessities to carry:

Abundant Drinking water
Radiator water
tools and spares
Tow Rope and D Shackles
Snacks as lunch arrangement not done.
Winched Offroader is most needed.
Umbrella, raingear, rubber boots.
Additional fuel and oils.
Tent and Sleeping bags
Warm clothing as the nights are going to chilling

Please note that full trouser and boots must for all.

Just come over. Don't worry about a vehicle. You will have quite a few to choose from.

Thanks for the poll Jaggu. I've voted for 18 and 19.
I would love to spend some time taking pictures this time.
Avalakonda was awesome during the JT 5 Anniversary.
The same trail now should be super fun!
So, Dwarak Sir, would it be possible to reach early and park my Gypsy at MPS' place (in the worst case that is, if i do not get to ride shotgun with others

)?

Please don't change plans for our convenience. We are still talking to each other about coming. If i get to drive, i'll fly down alone for sure. Even if bombay boys do come, i won't be getting my classic as yet. The overheating problem is still not solved; i'll be traveling with one of the gypsy boys.
