All the clubs are registered and attached to one parent organization called IOF (Indonesian Off Road Federation).

The only common thing for all the vehicle participated for the event was the tires.

SIEMAX tires are the most popular brand for every event. This is manufactured in Thailand and cost is approx: INR 12K each.

Robinson,

Thanks for sharing pics of the vehicles and their specs. Please do share some of the offroading action as well.

Compared to the Indian scene the Jakarta/international scene is on another leave altogether.

Its the Motor (DC), Gear Box and Disc-Brake setup for the Warn 8274.

In short it is the Drive & Safety behind the winch.

@Jaggu: Was planning for a long time, guess last weekend was little relaxed, so started the post.

The picture what you have seen is of FJ-40, and thats the twin motor 10.5lbs winch. Its suppose to be much faster than the normal winch.

That car is worth quite a lot of money. A real power packed off road machine. I was it perform on the speed track, and it moved like F1 car on such heavy track.

You right, compared to India, Indonesia is much advanced in OTR and 4x4's. Actually this country tops in 4x4's in the entire eastern region.

This seems to be extreme offroading, The picture of the entire vehicle lineup has come very well. Spending 30-40 lakhs on modification shows the serious attitude these guys carry for Off-roading, amazing, simply amazing.

Just few questions robinson,

1) Are you a member of any offroad club in Indonesia?
2) How can one be a part of this event? either participant or spectator
3) Why is the Tyre of the FJ off the ground during inspection in the last pic of your first post.
4) What is the rope type material tied on the Winch of almost all the vehicles and whats the use?

Sorry to raise so many questions, i have been bitten by this offroading bug badly and want to learn as much as I can and their is no better place for that then TBHP.
