Mahindra Great escape OOTY

After completing Chickmaglur and wayand we are planning to attend MGE ooty on 23oct.We are leaving on thur night in Major 4wd and team mates joining from coimbatore in MM540 and Boleros.
Plan to do a short OTR on friday at Upper Bhavani-will update the thread soon

count me too...am starting on thursday late night so as to reach avinashi by 6am. should i come straight to ooty or join you somewhere else ?

We are staying at www.marlboroughhouse.in. Join us , and if need booking there please call them now.

Anybody need more details for enrollment can call Mr Chidambaram, an M&M Guy in Coimbatore -9994099177, 2WD vehicles are also allowed. Seems terrain is not so challenging.

I too booked at the same hotel (Homestay at Ooty - Marlborough House). Mr.Prakash told me that now only one room left !! Jeepers are too fast.

shall we Plan for an Off road trial with nice hill views on Friday ?.

The problem was not with the terrain, they did find very challenging terrain. But there are hardly any 4WD customers in that area. Therefore, they had to find a less challenging route.

To the locals or once familiar to the MGE area:
1. Please recommend options for stay other than the once already occupied.
2. Rajith, would it be ok for you to PM your contact number to me, may be we can coordinate and start from Blore together if it fits all right.

Me,Thomas and Rajesh (joined at Mysore) all Bangalore Bolero club members proceeding twds OOTY . Stopped at Cafe coffee day Nanjangud 3.30Am.Major doing excellent performance in New Geolander A/T tyres , touched upto 110km/hr
