Mahindra Great Escape - Rajasthan -Feb 12, 2011

Hey folks!

Some of you know I had won the Mahindra Auto Quotient West Zone finals and finished second runner-up in the National Finals. My prize was a full expense paid trip to the Mahindra Great Escape.

I was told today that it is going to happen on Feb 12th at Mundhwa, Rajasthan Desert. I am very excited about it as this will be my first experience at off-roading.

Are any BHPians coming too?

Hey!

Great to know that something is happening. My uncle who regularly do off roading told me that there will be mahindra off roading in Feb near Jodhpur.

Can you confirm the locations and details?

@theragingbull, you can meet Vinod Nookala from M&M, he is the guy who organizes MGE's all over India. He is also on the forum. Most probably he will be driving a white Thar CRDe.

How did the MGE go? Any reports, pictures? I had been to Kashid beach past weekend and saw how a vehicle (here it was a scorpio) can sink into the sand. The scorpio 2WD barely made it 10-15 feet into the sand. It took two hours and a lot of manpower to get it back on terra firma.
