@ Grace, Nice captures
@ Jaggu, Thanks for the advice, will lift up the exhaust, didn't do it as it stinks when ST is opened & people stand at the back.
@ SV, sir don't frighten me sir, I will call the garage & see if they have made any progress.
@ WW2010 I guess its tears of Joy or doesit make you feel bad that we are torching the Gurkha

Now, need to brainstorm how water got into engine, any inputs? It never stalled, has got a snorkel and was pretty tight till it went into water, it is understandable in a ol' jeep, but this??
Where inside engine, if its cylinder then either exhaust suck in water or snorkle is not water tight. If it is oil, could have happened from the the breather, oil fill cap, valve cover. My guess.

Mostly the second part . I hardly push my car beyond 4000 RPM let alone touch the red line. And avoid cars when it rains heaviliy though i have to treat a machine like a machine.

Still envy you that you can experience something I can do only on rented cars with insurance and coverage for a minimal amount (Hehe)

Re: Articulation @ Bidaraguppe lake and water wading at Dhakshina Thirupathi

VW2010, I believe the the Gurkha was built to wander around nature paths & take some abuse, but Swear to take care of her with the best I can afford, did drain water in lights & indicator the same night although I had a head ache & was very tired, the next day she is in the service station, still there

Re: Articulation @ Bidaraguppe lake and water wading at Dhakshina Thirupathi

@ Krishna not really Sir, Just a Humble nature loving off roared,
learning & exploring My vehicle capabilities that will eventually help me tour and explore remote locations with Family.

@ SV, No Bills sir, as yet, had been to the service station, checked the engine oil and its Black (remember that day it was Grey)
looks like all the water has evaporated, but yes I have got delvac mx engine oil 7 liters & plan to replace it. Yet to get ffule & oil filters
Any recommendation for Tcase oil & Diff oil's?

The Mech says all is well after checking, just drive on its fine, but I want to replace all fluids, including break & steering ones just to be sure for the Next Big Trip Ladakh.
My rear Drums calipers ALWAYS Rust & get stuck, planning to go in fro read disks too.

Cheers
Sunil

'Silently' watching from the side-lines... If you recollect this was the 'exact' place I did solo a year ago and you said 'i was lucky to get away with it'... hehe.
