Hello friends. Creeping jeepers a new club started by Mr. Aman and Ibrahim, had organized its first offroading event at Vikarabad. It was truly an amazing event, beyond my expectations. Nearly 15 jeeps had participated and each and every member enjoyed the event thoroughly. The track was completely natural and had a lot to offer. Mud, slush, rocks and much more.

Each and every track was exciting, new and challenging. It all started at around 11.00 a.m. and ended by 7:00 p.m. and not even once did i feel it shouldnt have been this way or it should have been that way. They showed me the way and i conquered it with ease. Every minute i fell in love with my jeep.

But unexpectedly it was a difficult time for Getaway, Fortuner and Gypsy to clear the slush. There were a couple of new comers too who had tough time, but sorry to repeat it, every person there enjoyed it like never before.

Hey, this place is super, just like the final lake spot in chikbelapur (bangy OTR track).

The fortuner is done up nicely, needs the similar treatment in rear too - currently it looks half cooked.

Why are you using a non-std nylon rope (knotted by hand) to recover?

@santosh: The place is no doubt super. i have uploaded few more pics.. I am using the nylon rope just for show. though its not looking that good in the picture but it does look good on my jeep. Its temporary till i get my winch that i have ordered from U.S.A.

Congratulations to Aman and Ibrahim for the success of their first OTR and hopefully more are to follow in different times of the year.
Hyderabad needs more OTR's than the present happenings.

I am very interested to read a report on how the fortuner performed. I didnt see the fortuner being towed out of the slush anywhere while it needed some assistance in other areas.

Can you please summarize on how each car performed. Would be great for people like me who are always interested to get something like a fortuner and want to know its capabilities from real life users on these conditions.

You guys rocked at the very first off-roading event.
Lovely place for such events. Is there any plans for the next event. Do let me know please. will fly just for the event.
Whom does the FJ belongs to. I too have a similar model with a similar colour.

Nice Pics Adnan. It sure was a good track with a mix of everything (Slush/Streams and Rocks).

The Gypsy has HT tires, guess thats the reason for struggle in the slush and it was the first OTR for the lady who was driving.

I guess the same issue was with Fortuner, though it had ARB suspension kit and bumpers , it struggled in slush due to the tires.

asak Fazal saab. It was indeed a great OTR. I really forgot to mention about the food. For lunch they packed rice, tomato and cabbage mix for everyone and gave a water bottle. They had arranged for dinner too and provided two kinds of chicken, dal and rice. I had told aman to invite you for the OTR, did he forget it or were you busy?

Hii.. I dont want to dissapoint you as you seem to be already interested in buying it. but as a matter of fact it did not perform well at all. I think the driver made nearly 10-15 attempts to clear the slush. The problem was due to the stock tyres i believe and even otherwise it really got some good banging while clearing the rocky areas, as the pictures describe, even though the clearance was good enough. Overall dissatisfied with its performance at this event. Worst was the Mahindra Getaway, just couldnt clear anything and lastly was shocked to see Gypsy failing on most of the tracks. Only the willys, American and the Mahindras' jeeps were able to conquer the tasks.

Thank you Sir Ji. It was no doubt a tempting trail. as described above, i did not expect it anywhere closer to what it turned out to be.
