I really did not think it necessary. Actually, what would help are taller doors (for easier ingress) but that would have made the profile go for a toss!

I am glued to this thread now. Old military guys are big fan of these trucks (including JONGA). They talk about the potential these old Nissan vehicles possess. I would love to see the final outcome.

Truck is turning out well. Did you fit the Hino engine and 5-speed with T-case yet?

Saw this thread now, and it brought back my school time memories. As few of the lads here, I too used to go to school in one. And the timeless designs and aura of these vehicles is unmatched. Also do remember shaktimans and the Jonga's of the army. truely go anywhere vehicles.
Hooked to this thread now and the work is turning out to be really good. Waiting for the final touches

isn't the steering angle an ergonomic nightmare? is it comfortable as is?
