Re: My new Project. A teeny tiny Nissan truck! The 4W73

I really dont think the lorrys leaf will flatten out so much as to come near the sump, but anyways good to check it.

What is the AMW sticker on the front of the engine pulley? Did you get a 400Hp monstor secretly?

I was also curious to ask on that. After reading the ISUZU sticker story on the THAR gearbox I thought its something similar or did I miss OP's secret plan?

The AMW trucks use the Cummins 6BT, I managed to get the entire pulley assembly for the clutch type fan leaf and the ac compressor bracket/pulley off the 6BT, hence the AMW part no.!

if the exhaust is that way up, why route it all under the body? shorten it and let it rise up above the cabin roof. Alternatively modify it like it the fuel tankers so that it comes beneath the front bumper. you are going to have one cozy ride in winters for sure.

The exhaust is routed that way because of the paucity of space on the right side. It will be painted with heat resistant paint and then covered with heat resistant wrap.

Just regular heat resistant aluminium paint. This can handle temperatures upto 270 degrees.

I decided to get a heavy duty radiator for my Nissan with am electric fan. Got a large 4 core copper radiator and the fan off an XUV500.

Hows the exhaust header on the 4bt, show us some pics. Is it a Siamese one like the international and the shaktiman engine? They are not that great as they produce back pressure and the turbo would take longer to spool.

The exhausts and intakes are on opposite sides. I actually plan to do a sequential turbo set up with a smaller turbo for faster spooling.
