Re: Winch Install on a Mitsubishi Pajero SFX

Looks so clean. Looks so stock.

@epicenter.rulez & @Abbas I think you've encapsulated the notion of "Form follows function" here.

If you are ever in the eastern part of India, hit me up. The best mutton dish around here will be on me.

And if you are in the vicinity of Vapi, Gujarat any time, hit me up for the same.

Forgot to add this and couldnt edit the post, so here goes.
This is from one of our recent campouts in the forest regions of Dangs, South Gujarat which have become like a tri monthly affair for a bunch of very close friends. The SFX is usually loaded to the gills with the bhatthi, angeethi and pateela fulls of gurda, kaleji, chaamp, raan, some chicken for the pseudo non vegetarians and a lot of water bottles.

This is a shout out to anyone who wants to have a nice chilled out weekend with no network and only good food and banter about anything and everything.
@abbas, sorry to hijack the thread, but when somebody talks the language of meat, I just cant resist.
Coud've added more photos, but this is about winches so lets stick to the topic

Re: Winch Install on a Mitsubishi Pajero SFX

Basic testing of the winch.

We basically used a tree as an anchor point and tried to pull the car. Also, in order to increase pulling load, we engaged all the brakes and let the car drag itself.

We stopped it midway because it was damaging the freshly laid tarmac.

A winch blanket is advised to be used while winching, which we haven`t. Please excuse.
