@turboglx: But the Forestor is AWD with High and Low setting possible. While I agree they are not really off-roaders but in sand and slush we have driven them with very capable feeling.

Thanks for all these valuable details. Just would like to add tha Mahindra Axe is also not a full time 4WD as it has electical switch to change it's position from 2WD to 4WD and vice-versa.
