Here are some pics of the snorkel. Taken post OTR, so there's muck everywhere!

Did your snorkel head came along with the below highlighted part? or its a PVC plumbing material?

Below is my Snorkel Head.

Please advice.

I am planning to fit the Snorkel based on this design concept. (Thanks to Khan)

Notice the thickness of the pipe used.

Mine came exactly how yours is. The pipe is metal and has been custom fabricated along with the flare to fit the snorkel head.

Snorkel

@Tejas and Krishna,

Is that hole which i marked with red circle? And what is the purpose of that? If it is a hole, then we have a desi substitute which looks exactly same like this.

Thanks

It's a beveled slot made in such a way that air can enter but water can't. Why it's there, I have no idea. Thought about it lot but couldn't come up with a satisfactory answer. It's angled in such a way that it cannot be for the ram air effect for sure.

So, a introduction to the "all new" Spidy has been made here!

And yes, that is a hard-top. Guess Khan has enough of those 'wet' drives on a rainy day.

The vehicle does have a very different look now, in flesh.

Only weak point, if it can be called that, that I see is the exhaust, even though at a raised level, is not raised enough if Khan does wade thru deep enough water. But, reckon its nothing that a experienced driver like him can't handle.
