These winches are not designed for heavy prolonged use.

It is to pull out a stuck vehicle only. And in every case the stuck vehicle must assist with its own vehicle power, forward or backward as per case to get free.

These chinese winches will heat to the higher temperature ranges, definetely in about three to four minutes of use they get to 80 Deg C or even higher.

Hi is that a kinetic strap? Do we use Kinetic straps for recovery or tow straps? I was told tow straps are dangerous for recovery points.

No, it was not a kinetic strap. Tow straps are cheaper, and it should not be jerked while towing.
