. If I (in my Jeep) come home with underbody damage, it costs be anywhere between Rs. 500 - 2,000 to fix things. Add a couple of zeros to that repair bill for the Mercs.

Pics from the 'Star Drive' event in Chennai held at the Madras Motor Sports Track. I know there were some bhp-ians there who took great pics and i hope they post them!.This event was all about the safety and traction devices in M-B's cars.

Thanks!. The drivers were professionals some from Merc and others hired for this event.

I think they brought a set of German drivers for the cars.

Attended this event at the MMSC track yesterday. It was well organized and a first among the premium players in this segment.

The German drivers were excellent in pushing the E 350 CDi and C 250 CDi to the limits and demonstrating their safety features.

Time for BMW and Audi to wake up.....looks like MB is gearing up to take back the no. 1 slot this year. Most of their top and mid-level management have changed since last year and they are trying to think out of the box.

The event was held at Lakeland Country Club, off Kona Expressway. Saturday & Sunday, 3 slots of 2 hrs each everyday. Entry was by invitation only.

I read today that MB India is organizing a Star Drive Program on 29th May at Sundaram Motors.

Need help from the seniors on the possiblity of being a part of the drive.

AFAIK There are invite passes given to Mercedes Benz Car owners and other previliged customers. I got My invite
