Time to update this thread. I ordered some basic offroad related stuff which will be used for the vehicle and stuff used by me during offroading.

1. These are a pair of wire frame nets that will be screwed onto the inner part of the doors. Big enough to hold gloves, water bottles etc. Easy to clean.


2. 3M velcro. These are strong velcros with 3M tape on the other end. Useful for securing small odds and ends:


3.Bandana/mask which can cover the face. Great for dusty OTRs:


4. High quality camera mount. Can be safely secured anywhere on the car body:


5. Electric Kettle working on the 12V car socket. Perfect for a cuppa tea in the wilderness


6. One part of an immobilizer. The other part is too well packed. Don't wanna open it.


7. LED flashing lights. Can be secured on any broken down vehicle while it is being towed.


8. Life hammer in case of emergency


9. Autobot and decepticon logo. Just for timepass to add a bit of character to the car. Still deciding which to use.


10. Ponchos: disposable rain ponchos

13. Public announcement system - jeep mounted (good during major events)


14. High grip suction cups for adding odds and ends to windshield


15. Tyre pressure gauge. Great quality. Can also be used to rapidly deflate the tyres

Well most of these stuff are available at our National Market

I got a similar Electric Kettle Rs 450/- and LED lights @ Rs 200/-2 years ago for my Bus @ (Chinese brand- same as above)

Only dif is that most of this stuff came from the pound store! So very cheap.

The wading pants are expensive though and extremely heavy.

I still have another bagful of specialist tools to open.

The switches are for bulk purchase. Unless we find more people it doesn't make sense. When are you leaving?

Runwa winches i've heard of. Rest you will have to google.
