What is meant by hardcore off roading ?

Mmmm... Let me tell/show you guys what I recon is hardcore offroading.

1. Its going where no one wants to follow you
2. Its there where you also dont want to go if you are 4x4-ing alone
3. Its those places that makes your heart rate going much faster.... and creates some sweat on your forehead...
4. Its those placed where you would rather wait to see if the other vehicles can cross or complete before you attempt.

Here is some pics which I beleive is extreme / hardcore

Note... these are 32" wheels that I`ve dumped into the mud/water

See what i said? one cant define "Extreme" I Agree with every word what AVR has said. With every obstacle you tackle, your definition of Extreme goes up a few notches.

So the bottom line is do what you're doing in your 4X4 and the term extreme will keep on shifting. Thats the name of the game. Mermbers like Lalle-di-Jaan-Khan

, Jaggu, Robin, Kunal, Vijay, James, Allen, Patrick at all, set a different benchmark for extreme. In the EXAMM and AKC, these guys helped me out by acting as my spotters and made me tackle terrain that i would have probably not tried (er...actually i would have but i would have studied the terrain some more) and made what seemed like extreme a moment ago, seem not so extreme the next moment. Its like Bungee Jumping or Sky Diving, till you dont take off, its crazy, once uve done it, u want to do it again, not so extreme anymore is it? Think about it!!

I drive it with my poetic license only. This license allows me to state that "Skoda" and "Off Roader" rhyme.

I offer my own demented version of an off roader owner.

A man who tries to make his car into a tractor and then warns others about the dangers and non-road worthy characteristics of same and bars tractors from off road competitions.

Okay, not so good. I'll work on it.

even a farmer using his tractor to work on his farm is offroading!

i think it all comes down to the man, the machine, the terrain that defines offroading in terms of trail blazing, soft 4x2 offroading like MGE and then comes the hardcore offroading where not every one treads!

like some one said, every one has their own definetions when it comes to offroading in all its variants, hardcore or soft core!

i think in india we still have to be introduced to HardCore OffRoading! the revolution has yet to arrive come to what people do on international stage!

According to me, hardcore offroading is when all your local car washing place, rejects from washing your vehicle after your "trip" on some pretext till you get the hint and have to wash it on your own and after washing you inspect your ride for how many parts have been scratched/cracked/disappeared from your vehicle.
