By the way, the Safari chassis ia a CinC section.
Ya Tatas are making box shape like this , seen that on sumo chassis too .

I have also encountered such problem while working on box chassis , did something that might be useful
here check this , but not So sure about the results though as I had no chance to see the chassis again ( but no complaints so far either , the vehicle is in high humidity zone now )

Dear Nikhil,

Can we please have some more details about these custom Body manufacture? Any idea if they do cj3b body tubs? Such ventures need to be encouraged for the benefit of Custom builders.

Sir, i believe you had already noted, but if not, I believe that the disk with spacer picture shows the brake disk to be bent. Please check.

sir,
is that the clutch assembly lying on the tyre? One lame question, how function/useful are these "bling" rims during OTR's? Can they bear the load and abuse? can you carry spare rims in case of some issue?

Yup! That is the clutch assembly. Not kept very properly, I know. All cleaned up now!
I really don't know about the rims. They are supposed to be quite tough. I choose them for the negative offser and also because 10J rims were not available in steel. Now, however, Viji has them.
@ Santosh. Waiting for parts to come in. I was sent the wrong type of liners and hence waiting for the right set. All other parts have reached me.

Re: New 4X4 project

My gear driven power steering pump is getting ready. I am using the pump off a land cruiser. The gear was too short for this and hence had to get a new gear wire cut and hardened. Installation happening soon.

Re: New 4X4 project

HI,jyobeb. How did you source the ct26 turbo.

Which intercooler are you using?
Does the nippo denso pump have the boost compensator aka the alda sensor?
Are you increasing the diesel flow?
How much torque are you expecting?
What rpm does the turbo start to spool?
How big is the turbo compared to the scorpio turbo?
Guess i missed it, what axles and ratios are you using?
Do you have the ratios of the toyota gearbox?
Was the engine rebuilt using original toyota parts or taiwan parts?
There were 160pcd 10j rims on facebook last i saw.

Sorry for asking so many questions
