I am pretty sure it's doable especially in Bangalore where you have some good mechanical support. There are a few ways of going about it. One is to take the PS stuff out of a wreck, say a Pajero or up market vehicle. Another is to go with Mahindra parts since they have Boleros and other vehicles with PS. Another way is the use of after market parts such as Koyo out of Japan. This has good reviews on this forum.

Thanks Dan. Going with Mahindra parts would make a lot more sense, simply so that they can be fixed later to perfection, and spares are never an issue with Mahindra. hell, I can order the whole PS unit through the dealer and set it up. If the Invader came with PS (the AC add on is not tough), I think it will get a lot of buyers.

They launched the Sumo Grande at a decent price. I think given that these two vehicles share 90% of the chasis power train and similar amount of sheet metal, I don't see any reason to price the Xenon far higher than the Grande. Except ofcourse the additional cost of the 4WD system.

I expect the xenon to be pegged at between 9 and 10l. Now dan, the xenon is 16 feet long. How long is the camper? Are you serious about hauling a long load bed behind you and still be a nimble little mountain goat?

Hi Conjon,

The current M&M Bolero Invader is

Dana 44 30 Spline 1 Piece SFRA

I'm guessing the older ones with XD3P had a Dana 44 19 Spline FFRA.

Hi Conjon,

Post a Pic of your Rear Wheel Hub, if it has a projection with 8 Bolts and 2 Pins its is FFRA.

Pic of My FFRA Hub from a Bolero 53" FFRA with Armada 98 Hub. (pic is with out Axle)

Currently I'm not in india so cannot post a pic of my invader.
I shall put a photo of a similar looking invader.
This is the closest that i can find.The rear hub looks same on my vehicle as well.
Is it possible to change the rear axle to FFRA from the mahindra pickup truck if the invader is not FFRA?

Hi Conjon,

The Above 2 pics shown the 30spline Dana 44 1 Piece SFRA.

It is possible to convert(replace) the SFRA to FFRA, You will have to swap in a Bolero Rear Axle.

1) Check the Diff.Ratio and change if needed.
2) Check the Diff Pumpkin Off-Set and switch the Arms around if needed

, depends on T-Case Output.
3) Align the Diff. Pinion Angle.
