guys theres a bad news i guess.. these force motors are taking too much of time to launch the gurkha seeing the time period they are taking it doesnt seem to be coming in near future.. either they are waiting for the entire order of 20 to be bookied then only they'll produce it.. ive spoken to a lot of people at force motors they are just assuring that it will come.. they themselves are not sure.... i hope i does go into production soon..

Since you guys are talking about Gurkha, check out this pic and others taken at a recent OTR in Gurgaon, my Gurkha is 9 years old now, plenty of off road excursions, also covered a one month round trip of 8500KM from north to south and back, 90,000KM, engine still doesn't consume a drop of oil between changes, starts at 1/4 turn summer or winter, no rattles, noises etc. The Gurgaon OTR was really rough, my brother who was the driver gave up due to nose bleed but not the Gurkha, it was 45C weather and rough, from sand to rocks to mud, you name it, Gurkha did it.

Another clarification regarding the OM611, Force manufactures the engine and tranny under license from Diamler, specifically for the Sprinter van and MB C220 CRDI.

This is probably the same Gurkha reported here.

Damn, didn't realise it was a 9 year old Gurkha with 90K miles.

BTW, why is there a Mercedes logo on the front instead of Force logo?

Strange...we know it has the Mercedes-derived engine and gear box, but the logo??? - looks nice though.

hi evryone ive just come back from my trip to mangalore. i wanted to share a few things. the 1st day i came to mangalore the only thing that caught my eye is the no. of trax vehicles there are so many trax vehicles out there. every secong car i saw was a trax & people are happy using it especially tourist guys. the favourite amby is slowly disappearing. i went out one day in a trax toofan the driver was saying its very easy & economical to maintain. i took a few pics of the engine & the car will soon upload it.. as we went for drive i felt a lot of vibration & engine sound its not like the gurkha a lot of difference.

Hi friends,

Today I have requested a quote for TRAX to below mentioned specifications to a force officials;

1) 4x4 Rationalised chassis of 3050 wheel base or 2750 WB
2) OM611 engine with G32 gearbox
3) Power Steering
4) Without Body

Lets see what he says, he suggested to get body built from DC as they are familiar with trax chassis.

Will keep you updated for the same.
