Hi, I live near the observatory. Bala changes to a new Gypsy every 6 years or so. The other white one of my vintage is with Kishore Cariappa of Cafe Cariappa. Give a shout on 9911277478.

Re: My brand new Gypsy King 1.3L MPFI

Finally managed to have a chat with MSIL TSM for my zone - he is very clear that MSIL does not have any production plans for Gypsy in Dolphin Blue for the foreseeable future i.e. 6-9 months. Now this might change if there is a "surprise" order of 20+ Gypsys in this color but will this happen is anybody's guess.

So here I am, calling upon the Gypsy brotherhood to garner support for getting 20+ orders for Gypsy in Dolphin Blue Please spread the word around - folks who are ordering a new Gypsy and not very particular about the color, please choose Dolphin Blue so that we can get to the magic figure of 20

Other words of wisdom are welcome

Bud, did you sell off your old one?

Unfortunately yes Had I known better, I'd have kept it while waiting eternally for my new one.

Just wanted to know.
I m slowly getting bitten by the Gypsy bug myself, having owned two so far at different times in my life...

But for me, it is severely impractical - I will never be able to do it justice as a daily driver because it is all I can do to keep my existing vehicle on the road at 500-600 kms per month usage...

Seriously pathetic, for a guy who normally loves driving...

Re: My brand new Gypsy King 1.3L MPFI

Guys,

Please let me know if anyone is interested in picking up the OE tyres (MRF Estate F 78-15) from my Gypsy. I will be swapping them with new Yoko's as soon as the vehicle is delivered (around end-Sept). Sweet deal guaranteed

Regards
Rahul

Hey Sawyer, which ORVMs are those? While I am okay with the OE ORVM for the Gypsy, I understand that procuring a LHS one can be a real ordeal and therefore, might have to look for a swap.

If I remember right, they are Bolero mirrors. Some Mahindra vehicle, for sure.

Thanks. Were they a straight fit or you had to get additional holes drilled?

Re: My brand new Gypsy King 1.3L MPFI

They needed drilling holes on both sides; on any other car a no no, but it did not cause any hesitation even on a new Gypsy. And they have held up very well, so no regrets. Easily and cheaply obtained, as I recall.
