Dhanush this is my Jeep, 60" Hi-lift in back attracts unwanted peoples attention from opposite traffic, lot of drivers turn back to see what is that thing projected from top, after two years use i chopped that Hi-lift to match Jeep Top Height,

Re: MM550 XD NGCS - The War Horse

Wow Sreejesh the Chocolate Jeep is awesome and loved the 2nd pic. One query though: How do you plan to fix the Hi-lift jack there? Will those rods bear the weight? I guess you can also consider placing it in front of the front windscreen as on many Hyderabad Jeeps.

Re: MM550 XD NGCS - The War Horse

Small suggestion.

This can be added later & will provide you some space to mount some extra accessories .

Here the proposed addition bracket for your Jack carrier . It will also strengthen the existing bracket & ease the load on the top pipes of the hood .

Here ( Not to scale of course )

Re: MM550 XD NGCS - The War Horse

Experiment on Suspension Continues. Now articulates more than the stock NGCS with Custom Leaf springs and Shackle.

Making custom washers for new rear leaf springs.

MM550 XD NGCS - The War Horse-dsc_0043.jpg

New leaf springs
MM550 XD NGCS - The War Horse-dsc_0045.jpg

After suspension tuning , But not satisfied with front Springs.

MM550 XD NGCS - The War Horse-dsc_0107.jpg

does that difference in track width preventing the articulation of front Springs ?? I seriously doubt. So next is a Spacer.

Not yet. Wayanad OTR is coming so no time for experiments http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/4x4-ex...tr-2013-a.html.

Now going for a 43/8 (5.38:1) diff with LSD and a custom exhaust muffler.

Bought a set of 43/8 crown and pinion and a Muffler. Silencer pipe for rerouting the stock setup.
