Re: CJ3B Mix and Match – DIY Learning

Took out Jeep from hibernation for two day event at Bhor for stress testing, Jeep performed good (best is yet to be extracted), except two mechnical problems (no breakdowns)
1) 4 out 6 bolts flew off on my way to Bhor (70 kms)
2) Steering box came lose , rectified on trail
3) Accelerator cable slipped while back home, limiting speed to 50 km/hr, didn't had energy to stop the vehicle midway at 21:0 0hrs after two days of OTR

Few pics from event:

After initial niggles, this Jeep has proved to be a good companion (Few OTRs, expedition trips and highway trips)....

See the latest pic of snorkel, it goes inside the bonnet where standard oil bath air filter has been placed at standard position, only change i made is change in air inlet point to connect it to snorkel pipe.
Worth doing, this Massey Fergusson pre filter, leave dust particles at snorkel bowl which can be opened by hand and cleaned in less than a minute.
Worth doing.

Shubhendra jee, please post the inside routing pictures. Also which colour shade is your jeep. Is it some ready made shade with a colour code?

Regards.

Give me few days, Jeep is parked somewhere else. Though inside routing is not at all complex. I think its readymade shade, as I got painted my bullet in this color in 2009 in Delhi, though there were few trial and error on shades and out of few panels painted by painter, i chose this color and when we decided to use the same color for Jeep, i gave side panel to painter and he got the exact paint shade.
By the way, name of bullet was similar to your handle (http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/motorb...-wanderer.html
