Kumar's TANK is actually a modified Tempo Trax Gurkha jeep — a driverless automobile that has been designed on the lines of unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) that is being worked upon by the US and the UK governments. The creator has already demonstrated the prowess of his remote-controlled jeep to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), who, according to Kumar, were quite impressed.

This is too good! Wishing hisunil all the very best for the project, and this would be really a good tool for the armed forces. Would be interesting to see some build threads from hisunil, ie if it will not give away too much of his idea to competitors.

Great work. But if the target market is defence, it may take its own sweet time to get approval. He seemed to have kept the remote operation modification secret from any of the forums

This is simply superb!! I hope he is able to share the technical details with the public sometime soon. Maybe he can patent it if he feels it has chances of intellectual property theft. But the technicalities should be made public. It can spawn a new era of automobile automation if it proves to be a robust model.

Kudos!!

A small request, please do take your vehicle to the Techfests at different IIT's over India. It will be great learning opportunity for the upcoming tech grads to think even further!
