AC is definitely on the cards with the partition post Front Seats, just waiting for this Financial Year to end.

It's Bumper To Bumper Insurance with 24/7 Roadside Assistance, hence the price mate.

Understood.
Good call in my opinion.
Bumper to bumper promotes peace of mind!

The sticker proportions though, are a bit large!

I know, the Printer goofed up with the dimensions. Instead of 20 cm diagonal length, squares of 20 cm sides were printed by him. Check the below image for the actual size intended. Am planning something for the doors and my Dzire as well, will redo these stickers along with the new ones.

Looks Cool!

I also quite like a few stickers on my Jeep.

There is a nice one with a pic of a Jeep (simple outline pic with the iconic 7 slat grille and fat tyres etc) that reads 'Your's may go Fast, but mine can go Anywhere!'
This could be modified with a Gypsy Silhouette instead! It could be made in 6 inchx6 inch square and stuck on the rear glass or somewhere.

If possible and in case youre making any more of these stickers please make an extra set for me!

I have already modified the one you are mentioning with a Gypsy Silhouette, also visible in the post above. Am planning to stick it on the Side as the rear is already full of stickers.

We seem to be sticker maniacs both!

Here's another.
Its a Jeep Sticker which I had bought and which I affixed on my windshield corner.
This too can be modded with a Gypsy silhouette. 4 inches x 4 inches would be just right!Got Gypsy’ied - My brand new Maruti Gypsy 4x4-imageuploadedbyteambhp1489923482.234618.jpg

Also become a member of WIAA and get the AA Metal badge which you can bolt on to your radiator grille. Fits beautifully and securely too! Enhances the looks a lot in my opinion.

Will definitely soon. I like the placement of logo on your Gypsy's grill, would ideally replicate the same.

These two are very cute indeed. Nice concepts both.

However, a word of caution, there is such a thing as overkill on the sticker front, which us sticker maniacs need to be watchful of!

Saying that, you can also search for the Ashoka with crossed swords on Amazon.

They sell this decal in brass, for placement on Royal Enfield bikes number plates.
This can also be mounted on the Gypsy radiator grille as shown here.

Re: Got Gypsy’ied - My brand new Maruti Gypsy 4x4

The 1st Service for the Gypsy was done on 25th February. While the odo reading is barely 450 Kms, a month had almost passed since it’s delivery. Instead of going to the dealership I opted to call the MMS Van home & I feel it’s better to get the vehicle serviced at your doorstep, as it takes lesser time & all the work is carried out in front of you.

The MMS Van is very well equipped right with everything from Vacuum Cleaner to Washing equipment available in it. The only hindrance one might face is the laws of their respective society’s. Going by the looks on faces of various people passing by I feel “Servicing Of Vehicles in Society Premises” will surely be discussed in the next Annual General Body Meeting.

Today being Gudi Padwa Holiday, finally got the time to do an impromptu Photo Shoot. Will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Re: Got Gypsy’ied - My brand new Maruti Gypsy 4x4

Swapnil , a hearty congrats . Reading your thread took me 6 yrs back down the memory lane . I still remember my excitement of taking the delivery of my Brand new gypsy . May be i will never have that excitement again in my life for any other vehicle . Buying a brand new gypsy was my best decision in my life till date .

Most important thing for any gypsy is need for a free flow exhaust with header and K&N air filter , you get OEM airfilter from K&N . with these things your gypsy will be a beast , trust me i am enjoying my gypsy even more after these changes .

Automech from mumbai is the best from where you can get complete FFE , they can get you K&N air filter also . i got it from them for my gypsy .

Re: Got Gypsy’ied - My brand new Maruti Gypsy 4x4

So finally after much delay finally installed an AC in my Gypsy in April. Back to back work commitments meant I couldn’t update this thread earlier. Have gone the traditional way – Esteem Compressor, but along with the Maruti Ecco Condenser and Cooling Coil. Have retained the Stock Blower, hence now have directional control along with the heater which might be useful someday. Have changed the Original Gypsy radiator with a custom made one to take care of overheating issues.

The Gypsy has now run 1027 Kms that is approximate 300 Kms post the AC Installation, not once has it overheated & the AC has performed outstandingly even in peak summers. The post driver seat partition makes the cabin super chilled even during afternoon runabouts.

In addition to the partition have put hitlon above the passenger area & the entire rear portion of the soft top. This along with Sun Film on the Front Windscreen and the windows manage to keep the occupants “ALIVE” in the Mumbai Summers.

Am yet to do the Fibre Coating of the tub, have to get it done before the monsoon sets it. Should try and get it done the coming weekend.

Thank You Doc for your wishes. Performance Air Filter is definitely on my mind, FFE am not too sure; I don't want to turn my Gypsy in to a Cop Magnet. Right now am enjoying the look on the faces of Cops I Pass. Most I feel would be thinking "Is he one of us"; then they see the White Wheels – "Definitely not ours".

Am planning to install a Snorkel in the not so distant future, which will be a giveaway; would consider installing a FFE then.

BTW I liked your rear seat mod, sadly it wouldn't be feasible in the soft top. But the bed type arrangement can surely be tried.

How did you know who to trust for the A/C job? Because this is easy to botch up, so you seem to have done well.

As to snorkel, note that if it gets used in anger at any time, the water depth you have taken the car in is such that you will have to clean all 4 wheels and their bearings as soon as possible after the drive. Unless the snorkel is just for show and no go.

Rear bed is the best thing i had done for my gypsy , its very comfortable for long drives .

Did a 6000kms drive to spiti valley recently in march and gypsy proved its metal . Gypsy turned out to be the most comfortable vehicle for long drives for me . Did not encounter even a single problem on a 6yrs old vehicle .
