Your machine continues to be incredible.
Always a trade off between maintaining originality and safety.
Does the front end of the roll cage not reduce leg space?

Aamir bhai,
Finally the roll cage. I had expected to see it in the body colour itself.
am sure with the cage, You and Pari are going to have more thrilling adventures.
Great job.

I was also in favor of yellow color rollcage but later on decided to make it black.
Lets see how my FORD GPW reacts after rollcage
I had a lot of pressure from our members as well as international admirers to build rollcage

Re: Posting pics of my Ford GPW 1942

Aamir Bhai,

Your GPW never ceases to amaze us. It is a hardcore performing Jeep, matched with your driving skills.

Though the roll cage does take away the retro look, at he same time it is very necessary for off roading. It would not be advisable if it was just a classic show vehicle but yours is a thorough bred off roader.

The roll cage design is very good, low, proportionate and which doubles up as a frame for the soft top, post pics with the soft top too when you have one made. Get the seat belts fitted as you have made the provision for it.
Regards,

Its been more than twenty years i am using my Ford Gpw 1942 in different events of Islamabad Jeep Club
Being the President of our club i have lot of pressure from our Executive members for Roll cage.

Although i never thought of installing rollcage or roll bar on my Peeli Pari but the pressure this time was too much

I like this comment
" its a nazzar naa lage thing "

Thanks a lot for admiring the hardcore performance of my GPW & driving skills

I know the looks of my ride has been changed but we will get used to it a couple of weeks time

As far as rollcage design is concerned, one of my friend Rizwan Akram designed it for me

So far i have no plans for soft top but you are very much right about the seat belts.
Planning to go for four point seat belts
Lets see
