I am yet to see a TLC FJ in India, not even in the northern states. The closest i have gotten to a TLC Fj was when i was a kid i had a dinky car with working suspensions

You guys are so lucky there.

Just checked out the video and the TLC looks damn mean and handsome. The view is awesome and the terrain looks challenging.

Which place is this?

@ TLCFJ40

Amazing video, beautiful view & zabardast terrain.
And no doubt extra offroading skills of both the riders.

This is a route we took through shadrah village. A beautiful track with mouth watering scenes all the way in margallah hills.

A few months ago, a used car dealer opposite to johnson market here in bangalore had this FJ 89 model for 3.5-4 laks. It has the original toyota engine and is green in color and its so damn beautiful that i was tempted to buy it. But had to backoff considering its age and availability of parts and all that. I think it is sold off now.
guys, Those 4x4's you have are beautiful.

Krishna.

Thats a super ride you must be having all the fun in the world. Can you provide a little more technical specs of the engine and diff ratios and things like that.

The fj89 you are talking about is a tank, our nothern area is full of all the toyotas you can think of. Toyota has the major chunk of 4x4 vehicles in pakistan. From 73 to 2008 you will c all makes and models of toyota where ever u go. And no dought its a wonderful machine.

Thanks for the compliment hemanth. Well it has a 3200cc B2 diesel engine in it. It was a petrol but was converted to diesel. About the technical stuff, i think i did have them somewhere will look them up for you and post them here for your viewing. It does have the original setup i mean the axles, tubes & suspension. Most of the technical stuff in it is all original as i think its best to keep it that way more reliable and long living.

1>Very nice vehicles indeed. And good job with the workmanship too.
2>There are a couple of TLC FJs in Bangalore, similarly fitted with diesel engines.2 wd as per their owner chose them that way.Maybe you need to look around you, that's all.
3>Maybe you should go off roading once in while to check out terrain.
cheers
