The new ones (replica) cost around 15k a pair, but I am not sure how good they will be for your back and spine. People who have been using may comment. Did you try to source the original classic front seats? As GTO mentioned many times, these seats are really good. I myself am also looking for a good pair, but till now no luck.

Recaro's are not really that comfortable. Atleast i dont find them. They look good though and will go with the Classic.

For seats go with good cushioning, back and thigh support. The suspension is not the best and you will bounce around a lot. If he uses the Jeep as a daily drive then he better have good seats. Looks are secondary.

And what seat exactly do you recommend? I do agree that comfort is more important than looks. From the discussions in the modifications & accessories section, it seems Honda Accord has the best type of front seats. What are the other options? I am also in search of a comfortable front seat for jeep 540.

The CL340 came with very good and comfortable bucket seats derived out of the 118NE (the vendor was common in Mumbai). See if you can find them.

Considering that the Classics production ended a decade back, I doubt you will ever find a good pair. Suggestion : Who not get an identical pair custom made? A competent seat fabricator could easily get the job done in a week. Even better if you take a friends Classic along for measurement.

Oh thank you sir, I didn't know that! Great, this shouldn't be too difficult to find. Will search for it. Regarding the original classic seats, yeah GTO, you are right. Let me see if i get good 118 NE seats in Delhi, if not then fabricator option is always there.
