headers,
5spd 4wd gearbox can be fitted with 2.1 engine. Last few Armadas came in with BA-10 gear boxes as a test fleet. Only Behrem sir can comment if that fitment was good enough.

I personally feel that a BA-10 can be fitted and your stock 2.1 engine can definately take it and will cruise better. However dont expect it to cross 100 kmph with 5 speed as 2.1 litre may not have enough power to propell the jeep in 5th gear. A 2.5 litre engine with 5 speed touches 105kmph barely in 4wd form due to MM540 slab like aerodynamics.

regards

vinod

Thanks Vinod,
I too needed those useful inputs. Basically, Jeep was not built for highway speeds and the box slab design adds to it.

Re: MM540 from Hyderabad

Great looking ride Fazalbhai. Sorry for the late indulgence, i found the thread just now
Thats the Mantra, keep it simple and straight. Though the Army rims add to the look, i think Mag alloys will go a long way in making your beautiful ride much capable.

Kindly share some interior pics including seat and modified rear forward facing seat for us to drool further
