Nice Machine. However, please get yourself well acquainted with the right technique of engaging 4WD from an expert, as incorrect engagement can cause the gears to lock.

Thats a good looking classic your friend has got. I must admit that this is the first one I am seeing personally in this color.

Do be careful about the wire wheels in some tough rocky terrain during off-roading..

Cheers,
I totally agree with you Shahnawaz, This is the first classic i've ever seen in this colour.
The maximum classic's i've seen were Red, Black and also a bright yellow (very few though). But this colour is the first for me.

Overall its a very well kept vehicle and hope you guys have a blast driving it and taking it to the wild.

Cheers

Fantastic! Super! What an immaculate Classic. Even the soft-top support rods aren't bent. First time I am seeing this colour on a Classic, but I like. You need taste to choose the right shade of yellow for a Mahindra. I'd guess the owner has taken pains to keep her well.

The 1st & 2nd picture, in particular, make this Classic stand out. I am sure you paid a premium but what the heck. Well spent, I say. Such well-kept original Classics are a rare breed.

How many kms on the odo?

The paint job looks fine out side & not from the inside, notice some unfinished area's

Well having a classic now days it self is big affair in our group,

Bets regards

Wow! You are one lucky guy....atleast .75 - 1 lakh kms of useable life in that engine. Not to mention, other components like the gearbox, fuel pump etc. would be healthy too. What is the exact tyre size? I like the stance of the white-lettered rubber.

The only other low mileage Classic I have seen in recent times belongs to a guy who runs an after-market Euro car workshop in the suburbs. About 40 - 50K on his odo too, immaculately maintained. Even his plastic doors, soft-top & carpeting are original!

You really are LUCKY to come across such a low mileage Classic. Congratulations & keep her well.

I had the pleasure of riiding shotgun on this jeep. When I heard the price I felt like jumping off a cliff - (in joy). Well maintained machine, and the engine is bloody strong.

BTW how much did you pay for this classic. Recently i was offered a classic (96 last model ) from Chennai for 3L.

I felt the asking price was too much and hence didn't bother to proceed.

That's a heart-breaking thing to say to the new buyer. Can you substantiate this claim?

I have seen a CJ340 with 2.5L price tag, so this could be anything. I have attached the pic of that Jeep.
